Honors in the major are awarded to graduating seniors whose UCSC GPA in psychology courses is a 3.6 or higher. Transfer courses and independent study courses (191-199) are discounted since it is difficult to make a comparative rating.

Highest honors in the major are reserved for students with a 3.6 GPA in psychology courses as well as honors-level performance on a senior thesis.
Honors are not awarded in the minor.

All majors are automatically reviewed for honors during the quarter in which they graduate from UCSC. Students must apply for graduation on the student portal by the campus deadline in order to be reviewed for honors. Click on the "Apply to Graduate" link in the "Academic Progress" menu of the student portal. Refer to quarterly deadline dates in the Schedule of Classes.
